Alex is an award-winning documentary director whose work explores global themes in local stories. A native of East Germany with over 12 years of professional filmmaking experience, he launched Ost Haus, a production company dedicated to creating meaningful films that inspire viewers past listening into action. His passion for outdoors and adventure translates into his short-film work, capturing stories such as Zoe Romano’s self-supported run across the USA and, three years later, when she became the first person in history to run the world-famous, 2,000 miles long Tour de France on foot. Alex holds a BA in Film from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Sylviane Na is an American-Canadian-French Producer based in Los Angeles. She grew up in Iowa and served six years as an Active Duty Officer in the US Army, deploying to Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). Sylviane has lived and served in many US states, such as Tennessee, South Carolina, Washington, and Virginia, and has visited over 40 countries. She is passionate about travel and enjoys outdoor activities, such as hiking the Torres del Paine W trek in Patagonia and climbing the Khongor dunes in the Gobi Desert. Sylviane earned a BA in Marketing, an MA in Human Resources Management, and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Producing at UCLA Extension. 

Megan Roe is a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina and a strong advocate for all things outdoors. For the last five years, her volunteer experience with the Palmetto Conservation Foundation has allowed her to explore expanses from the mountains to the low country, turning her volunteer work into roles concerning the execution of the organization’s statewide events, such as Trail Runs, Women’s’ Retreats and the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition. Most recently Megan was appointed as the Digital Content Creator for PCF’s partnership with South Carolina 7. Her role will be to strategize and implement social media campaigns and to organize regional media interviews as the project pertains to the Palmetto Trail. In addition, she will also be coordinating with all SC7 social media partners to deliver cohesively designed messaging across diverse platforms. 

Jason Parks is a Director of Photography who specializes in shooting commercials, branded content and documentary films.
